What’s New This Month in Civalgo 🚀

This month, we’re introducing improvements that give you more control, better visibility, and a smoother experience both in the field and at the office.

📸 Autofill forms with pictures

We are very excited to share this amazing feature that we believe will make your life much easier! To reduce manual input and speed up data entry, you can now autofill forms using pictures!

Simply create a form with the required fields, then take or upload a photo, and Civalgo will automatically extract and fill in relevant information in your forms.

🕒 Time Off: better visibility, better workforce planning

The new Time Off module is now available in Civalgo to help you manage employee availability, avoid scheduling conflicts, and improve dispatch planning.

You can now:

• Create custom time off categories and policies (vacation, sick leave, unpaid leave, etc.)

• Track employee balances and upcoming absences

• Record time off directly in Civalgo

• See employee availability directly in the dispatcher timeline

Time off is now integrated directly into dispatch:

• Employees with approved time off are clearly identified in the dispatcher

• Hover over the indicator to see the exact type of absence

• Optionally prevent dispatching employees while they are on approved leave

The result? This gives better visibility for coordinators and project managers, fewer scheduling mistakes and more confidence when planning crews and assigning work

🔧 Match equipment to an employee at the daily log level

To give you more flexibility in the field, you can now associate a specific equipment to an employee directly within a daily log.

This allows you to override the default operated equipment for that employee, but only for the selected daily log.

• With the 3 dots next to the employee, assign the equipment for the day.

👉 Once assigned:

• The association is automatically used when creating time blocks

• The correct equipment is included in SMS dispatch communications

This feature is especially useful when equipment changes from one project or day to another or when you need more accurate tracking without modifying default settings

Customize what you see in time blocks

You can now choose what information is displayed directly inside each time block, such as operated equipment, pensions, and more.

This allows you to tailor your view based on your needs, so you can focus on the most relevant information without opening each block or switching screens.

📒 Logbook: a cleaner, more flexible experience

We’ve updated Logbook to make it more intuitive and better adapted to your day-to-day needs.

• New Logbook interface (UI update)

  Logbook now features a refreshed interface designed to improve readability and navigation.The result: a cleaner experience and faster access to the information you need in the field.

• More control over what you see in time blocks

  You can now choose what information is displayed directly inside each time block (e.g. operated equipment, pensions, etc.). More changes coming soon based on your feedback.

👀 Coming soon: Project Manager Hub

We’re excited to give you a first look at something big coming soon.

The Project Manager Hub is on its way.

👉 This new dashboard will help you:

• Get a clear overview of your projects in one place

• Track performance and key metrics more easily

• Make faster, better-informed decisions
