# Manage Your Civalgo Mobile Settings

You can manage mobile app settings to control which features your employees can access, how they enter their time, and what information they need to provide.

### **Prérequis**

To access your Civalgo Mobile settings, you need Administrator permission and must enable the Civalgo Mobile feature in the Features tab of your settings.

### **Activate Civalgo Mobile**

1. Click on your **company name** in the left menu → go to **Settings**.
2. Go to the **Features** tab and click **Activate Civalgo Mobile.**
3. Click **Update** at the bottom right of the screen.

### **Civalgo Mobile Settings**

Once Civalgo Mobile is enabled, you’ll have access to the Civalgo Mobile tab in your platform settings. There, you can configure the various fields that determine how data is collected for your projects.

* **Configure the recording type:** punch, manual, or punch and manual.
* Check the **Location tracking on timer** box to enable it. Note that location tracking is only available for punches, not for manual time entry. Also, location is only tracked when punching in and out.
* Enable or disable the **Equipment**, **Materials**, **Location**, and **Pensions** fields. You can also allow entries without time. This means your employees or subcontractors can create reports with just a note, material quantities, or forms, for example, without necessarily having a time entry for their day.
  * If these fields are enabled, field employees will have to enter this data themselves.
  * If you prefer to have foremen enter the data, leave these fields unchecked — they will simply remain inactive.
