# Manage Your Logbook Settings

You can manage the Logbook settings if you have administrator permissions. Only administrators can access the company settings.

### **Activate Logbook**

1. Click on your **company name** in the left menu → go to **Settings**.
2. Go to the **Features** tab and click **Activate Logbook.**

3. Click **Update** at the bottom right of the screen.

### **Logbook Settings**

Once Logbook is activated, you will have access to the **Logbook** tab, which appears in the main menu on the left, as well as in the Logbook settings. There, you will be able to configure the different fields that determine how data will be collected for your projects.

* **Configure the recording type:** punch, manual, or punch and manual.
* **Check the “Location tracking on timer” field** to enable it.
* **Enable or disable fields for Equipment, Materials, Location, and Meals.**
  * If these fields are enabled, field employees will have to enter this data themselves.
  * If you prefer to have foremen enter the data, leave these fields unchecked — they will simply remain inactive.

Now you know how to **activate and configure Logbook** , and you can adjust its settings according to the needs of your projects!
